Where are All the Homes for Sale?

A nationwide MLS outage is affecting new listings, but you can still search on Sibcycline.com.

**UPDATE: MLS access and syndication has been restored for Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana.

You’ve heard that inventory is low, but with no new listings showing up in your searches for the past several days, you’re probably wondering what's going on. Our agents are still listing properties for sale, showing homes, writing contracts, and making moves for our clients, despite a major MLS outage affecting the input, access to, and distribution of property information in the Greater Cincinnati and Southeast Indiana markets.

Here's what you need to know:

Your agent should be your first point of contact.

They will be able to find the most up-to-date information for you. The MLS may be down for some time, so if you're actively searching, you will need your agent's help.

If you are not working with an agent yet, reach out to a Sibcy Cline REALTOR® you know or follow online, or contact our Customer Care team to make a match in your market area. Our agents have access to exclusive brokerage tools that help them connect buyers to homes for sale through their network of REALTORS® across the region. You can rest assured that your Sibcy Cline agent has the power to keep you moving.

You can still search homes for sale on Sibcycline.com.

All properties (including those not listed with Sibcy Cline) that were entered into the MLS prior to the outage on August 9th are still searchable on our website. If the property wasn't listed with Sibcy Cline, the information might be out of date, but if you’d like to ask a question or to schedule a tour, you’re still able to do so for all of the properties listed before the MLS went down and we'll find the answers for you. Start your search here. Add locations or school districts in the gray bar and adjust your filters for property type, number of bedrooms/bathroom/garage spaces and more.

Showing requests submitted through Sibcycline.com are still operational despite the outage.

Showing requests on Sibcycline.com are people-powered, so they haven't been affected by the outage. Our website supports flexible showing times to make it easier to schedule a tour with an agent, and since we don’t rely on third party data to make those connections, we’re still able to get showings scheduled for you.

If you’re trying to buy a home, here's what you can do today:

1. Create an account on Sibcycline.com and save your favorite searches.

You can opt in to receive notifications when new listings that meet your criteria hit the market. As soon as the MLS is back up and running, you’ll be the first to know and the new listings will come straight to your inbox. We do not sell our user account data and you will only receive the notifications that you choose to receive.

2. Connect with your Sibcy Cline agent.

If you're already working with one, add them as your agent in your account on Sibcycline.com. When you connect your agent in your account, tour requests and questions on properties throughout Sibcycline.com will be sent directly to your agent to ensure that you get into new listings quickly and seamlessly when they hit the market again. Your agent can answer questions about any of the properties currently displayed on Sibcycline.com.

3. Get pre-approved for financing so you're prepared to make an offer.

Take advantage of the pause in new property content to get pre-approved for a mortgage so you won't have to wait when the opportunity hits. Already pre-approved? Our mortgage loan officers are happy to run the numbers to see if they can get you a better deal.
