To get started, you should head to the Cincinnati Water Works website to make your account and create a profile. Afterward, you can decide how you want to pay your Cincinnati city utilities.

You can pay your Cincinnati water bill online as long as you have your account number or phone number. For autopay, you can use your checking account, savings account, credit card, or debit card. To pay by mail, you should make a check out for the payment amount and send it to:

Duke Energy

To begin your account with Duke Energy, you can go to their site and go through their submission process. You will need to have your identification details, address, and the date you want your Cincinnati electric service to begin. If you apply online, the date you start your service on has to be at least three business days in the future for your account to be processed.

Unlike some city utilities in Cincinnati, Duke Energy requires customers to prove their credit history when they begin their electrical service. If you are a new client, they will run a credit check to determine your upfront costs. If you have no credit or bad credit, you may need to pay Duke Energy a deposit to use their services.

But you don’t have to pay a security deposit if you have existing services with Duke Energy and haven’t had more than two late payments in the last 12 months. If you have to pay a security deposit to start your Cincinnati utility billing, you will eventually get it back as long as you maintain a good payment history. Duke Energy will apply the security deposit toward your last bill when you end your services, or they will return it to you if you have made enough payments on time.

If you want to pay your Cincinnati utilities online, you can go to Duke Energy’s payment portal and create an account. You can also pay using an e-check, credit, or debit card using Speedpay. To pay by phone, call (800) 544-6900.

In order to pay in person, you can enter your address on Duke Energy’s site. It will show you nearby locations where you can pay your Cincinnati public utilities. Finally, you can send a check or money order to the following location to pay your bill each month:
