Milford

Greater Cincinnati Area

The first settlers in Milford arrived in 1796 with a 1000-acre land grant from the Revolutionary War. The name “Milford” stems from being the first safe “ford” to arrive at a mill north of the Ohio River. In 1982 Milford became a city.

Located in one of Ohio's growing areas, Milford, a pleasant mixture of tradition and progress, offers a sense of "community." Milford has a variety of housing options. Continuing construction in the area provides elegant homes of the latest designs and amenities. There are also many attractive homes, rich in historical value, for those who enjoy the architecture of earlier eras. While the amenities of urban society are plentiful, the community's quiet personality is carefully preserved for a superior quality of life.
