There are almost 14,000 residents of Harrison Township and within the township is the city of Harrison, named for the ninth U.S. President, William Henry Harrison. The most “famous visitor” to Harrison Township may have been Confederate General John Hunt Morgan. In July of 1863 Morgan’s Raiders travelled through Harrison on their way to their eventual capture near Cincinnati.

Harrison Township was founded in 1873 and still offers rural charm and beauty. Within the metropolitan area of Cincinnati, residents enjoy easy access to the city while living among the green spaces that the township has to offer.
