Located approximately six miles northwest of Dayton in Montgomery County, Trotwood is a community of 31,000 that can be described in three words -Town and Country. Trotwood has many beautiful neighborhoods with active neighborhood associations. In addition, housing options include an array of affordable single family and duplex models, most of which were built in the late 1970's and early 1980's. RTA provides bus transportation connecting Trotwood with the downtown Dayton area.

Within Trotwood lies Sycamore State Park, located in both Trotwood and Ferry Townships, offers 2,300 acres of hiking trails, picnic areas, horse trails, fishing lakes, camping grounds and more. The park is a winter haven for sledders, skaters, snowmobilers, and cross-country skiers. For golf enthusiasts, Larch Tree offers an 18-hole golf course.
