CIN-DAY Corridor

Atrium Medical Center in Middletown is about a 15-minute drive. Hospitals in Dayton, Centerville, and Cincinnati are readily accessible.

Franklin offers a 65-acre community park with active soccer, baseball and softball programs, as well as picnic shelters and playgrounds. Lighted tennis and basketball courts, an all-weather running track, a football stadium and Olympic sized swimming pool, as well as smaller neighborhood parks provide for residents' needs. A year-round driving range and a 9-hole public golf course are close by for golf enthusiasts. Less than 10 minutes away off I-75 are two major shopping malls, one to the north in Centerville, and one south in northern Cincinnati. Franklin is located conveniently in northwestern Warren County between Cincinnati and Dayton, hugging the Great Miami River, which contributed to its history as a paper-manufacturing center. Housing for the 11,000 residents is quite varied, with a lovely tree-lined downtown district. Older homes abound, and reflect the conservative living habits of its residents in the simple, but solid character of their homes, and the meticulous manner in which they have been preserved. Apartments and senior citizen housing is also available.

Franklin

Franklin is conveniently located on I-75, a 40-minute drive to the Dayton International Airport, or approximately an hour's drive to the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport. State routes 123 and 73 bisect the town.

Kettering Medical Center - Middletown is located on SR 122 southeast of I-75 and provides 24/7 emergency care as well as other medical services. Atrium Hospital and a branch of Dayton’s Children’s Hospital are located off of I-75. In nearby Hamilton, Fort Hamilton Hospital, TriHealth Bethesda Butler Hospital and Mercy Health - Fairfield (the only hospital in Butler County to offer open heart surgery) serve area residents.

Middletown was designated as an All-American City in the late 1950s and is home to several large industries including paper manufacturing and aerospace technology. The city is located in both Butler and Warren counties.

Sweden Creme: A Beloved Hamilton Tradition

There are 27 parks throughout the city for casual enjoyment, sports and recreation. The Meadow Ridge area of Elk Creek MetroPark has miles of trails to walk and enjoy. River Center at Bicentennial Commons is a great place to rest along the Great Miami River Trail. Smith Park features 96 acres as well as baseball diamonds, fishing pond, a skatepark, trails and picnic areas. Armco Park in Turtlecreek Township (Lebanon) features 311 acres with softball fields, a fishing and boating lake, picnic areas as well as an 18-hole golf course. Take a swing at The Golf Center, a course 15 minutes away designed by Jack Nicklaus. Shaker Run Golf Course is located nearby in Lebanon and features a 27-hole championship course. Additionally, several state parks are within easy driving distance, including Hueston Woods, Caesar’s Creek and Germantown Dam, and are great stops for boating, fishing and water-skiing. The Middletown YMCA offers many health and fitness opportunities. If you dare, enjoy  sky diving at the Hook Field airport with Start Sky Diving. For those who enjoy gambling, Miami Valley Gaming casino is conveniently located in nearby Monroe. 

Middletown’s history can be easily viewed by visiting the Canal Museum. Publications, relics and an extensive collection of artistic illustrations trace the cultural and economic growth of Middletown. An artist and lecture series is sponsored and held at the Miami University Middletown Campus. Residents enjoy even more arts at the Middletown Fine Arts Center, Sorg Opera Company and Middletown Lyric Theatre. The Pendleton Arts Center in Middletown offers art exhibits and events throughout the year. The Middletown Cincinnati State’s campus provides a learning environment for students as well as a Workforce Development Center for customized job training services and programs for the public. 

There are several festivals to enjoy every year: The Ohio Challenge Balloon Festival (hot air balloons) is held in July. Light Up Middletown (a drive-through light display) is scheduled in December. The Middletown Arts Festival host community events from May through September with exhibits, workshops and other events.

Historic South Main Street offers eclectic shopping opportunities in a scenic downtown with many events planned throughout the year. From an old-fashioned ice cream social to a cruise-in, to an Italian fest, residents enjoy supporting downtown businesses and its sense of an urban community. There are some popular eateries and pubs to enjoy there. Numerous strip malls, both chains and fast food restaurants line the highway access to the downtown. Local merchants fill the needs of residents with convenient shopping in many neighborhoods. For the bargain enthusiast, Cincinnati Premium Outlet, with over 100 stores, is a short drive away. For those who love donuts, Middletown is part of the Butler County Donut Trail with two places to find such a treat: Milton's Donuts and Central Pastry Shop.

Incorporated in 1833, Middletown is home to approximately 50,000 people living within its corporate limits and another 50,000 in the surrounding area. Located conveniently between Cincinnati and Dayton on the Great Miami River, Middletown boasts a wealth of history, culture, and natural splendor. It’s a place where 150-year-old mansions, small ranch homes, duplexes and apartments sit side-by-side with beautiful landscaped parks.

Middletown

Middletown is located in Butler County on I-75 midway between Cincinnati and Dayton. Hook Field is a small municipal airport and is used for general aviation. Air travelers use either the Dayton International Airport or the Greater Cincinnati International Airport.

Several hospitals are within easy access of Germantown. Hospitals include Miami Valley Hospital, Children's Medical Center and Sycamore Hospital.

Outdoor activities keep residents busy in numerous city parks including Veteran's Memorial Park, which has a community swimming pool, Kercher Community Park, with four baseball/softball fields, soccer fields and tennis courts, Hillcrest Park and Germantown Reserve & Nature Center. Athletic programs for children include Junior Spartan football and Valley View youth baseball and soccer. The Jamaica Run Golf Club, an 18 hole public golf course, is located in Germantown.

Shopping malls within a short drive from the area include Dayton Mall, the Mall at Fairfield Commons and Towne Mall. Local merchants provide general merchandise and services conveniently located for residents.

German-speaking families from Pennsylvania settled Germantown in August 1804. Although there are five Germantowns in the United States, Germantown, Ohio is thought to be the first such named city. The German language was the major language spoken in Germantown until the early 1900s. Much of Germantown's downtown has been declared a National Historic Site and National Historical Preservation District. Housing ranges from stately older homes, well-landscaped and preserved, to newer developments that have been designed to harmonize with the historic ambiance of the town. This is a town where leisurely living has flourished.

Germantown

Germantown is located on St. Rts. 4 and 725. It is within ten miles of I-75 and 20 miles of I-70. The Dayton International Airport is approximately 25 miles away in Vandalia.

Miamisburg is home to Sycamore Hospital; Middletown Regional Hospital is about a 15-minute drive. Hospitals in Dayton, Centerville, and Cincinnati are readily accessible.

Sports provide a focal point for this town. There are three golf courses in Miamisburg: Mound has 9 holes, Pipestone has 18 and the River Bend Golf Club offers an 18-hole course. The Sycamore Trails Aquatic Center features two water slides, a 15,000+ sq. foot swimming pool with a beach-like entry and concession stands. Soccer reigns big with over 42 acres of the Miamisburg Soccer Complex dedicated to the sport, fielding hundreds of teams. Sycamore Trails Park is a family favorite, providing neighborhood park convenience with a youth fishing pond as a special feature.

Many neighborhood shops provide for daily purchases, and a multitude of fast food restaurants and movie theaters are nearby. The Dayton Mall is a short	drive from the east side of town with over 120 specialty shops, cinemas, and restaurants.

Miamisburg is located in Montgomery County, approximately eight miles south of Dayton. Miamisburg got its name from the Miami Indian tribe that settled the area. 27,000 residents call the 11 square miles home. Downtown Miamisburg is the heart of the city. Whether you wish to shop, dine, or meet your service needs, downtown is the place to visit. This is an active community offering housing ranging from exclusive, custom-built homes to charming older neighborhoods with well-maintained homes of all sizes. Single-family homes, townhouses and apartments of almost every design provide choices for all.

Miamisburg

Miamisburg mirrors the layout of the I-75 corridor. RTA serves the area.

The Great Miami River runs along Carlisle's eastern boundary, and Twin Creek is nearby, providing outdoor enthusiasts with canoeing and hiking opportunities. Roof Park provides recreational activities for residents. Golf courses and other activities are in neighboring communities.

Local merchants provide general merchandise and services conveniently located for residents.

This northwestern Warren County town 14 miles south of Dayton was primarily a railroad town in its early history. This settlement of farmers was named after George B. Carlisle, a railroad man, who bought and divided the land now bearing his name. This rich, fertile farmland with its rural beauty and large, tree-lined expanses has enticed nearly 5,400 people to the peaceful community of Carlisle. Classic farmhouses and new, gracious construction sites abound.
