The retaining wall is from the original retaining wall of Miami Valley Hospital. The decorative stones in both the front and back are from the Barney & Smith Estate. The rear court yard is paved with antique bricks from around Ohio. Metal roof was new in 2015. The carport/shop area in the back has a barn-wood slider door and is completely enclosed. Inside you will find hardwood floors and decorative woodwork throughout, including the corbels in the kitchen that came from The Loretto in Downtown Dayton, a Catholic-run boarding house for young women that opened in 1928. Furnace was replaced in 2022 and the A/C was replaced in 2025. The mirror in the living room came from the WAldorf Astoria in New York City (frame is not original) and the chandelier is solid iron.
