Transportation
Located between State Routes 68 and 68, Lake Waynoka is north of Russellville and Georgetown and south of Sardinia and Hillsboro. The Circle Freeway (I-275) provides access to all of Hamilton County within 50 minutes and access to I-71 to Columbus and I-75 to Dayton. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport is 60 minutes from Lake Waynoka. The regional Clermont County airport is in Batavia.

Mercy Health Clermont Hospital in Batavia is a part of the Mercy Health System. The hospital is an acute care facility with an emergency room, as well as a complete intensive care unit and outpatient services. The Christ Hospital Outpatient Center is in Miami Township. Mercy Health Anderson Hospital is 40 minutes from Lake Lorelei. Cincinnati's major hospitals, including Children's Hospital Medical Center, TriHealth Bethesda North, TriHealth Good Samaritan, The Christ Hospital, and University Hospital, are within 45–50 minutes.

The Lodge is home to a restaurant as well as being used for meetings and club activities. Residents enjoy having a drink and socializing. Head into Fayetteville, Blanchester, or Milford for local shopping and restaurants. Biggs Place Mall, in Eastgate, provides a tremendous selection of groceries and other products under the convenience of one roof. Nearby Jungle Jim's International Market is a popular destination with its assortment of foods and drinks from worldwide sources. Walmart and a variety of other specialty businesses are also located in the area.
Recreation
Lake Waynoka has a sandy beach to enjoy. A play area is available for residents and includes a half-court basketball, swings, sandbox, and spaces to play football, baseball, and volleyball.
The marina is centrally located on the lake and features a general store and gas dock. Boats can be serviced for maintenance as well as winterized.
The Rec Center is state-of-the-art and features a game room and fully equipped fitness room. There are three outdoor pools to be enjoyed during warmer months. An indoor pool and jacuzzi spa along with showers, dressing area, lockers, a full-sized gymnasium, and indoor pickleball and tennis courts complete the facilities.
The campground in Lake Waynoka has 261 pads, including 88 full hook-up sites with electric, water, and sewer. 171 sites feature electric and water fill-up service. A shower house is on the grounds along with four satellite bathrooms throughout the facilities. A shelter house is available for cookouts and parties.
